The Utah Jazz had to be feeling pretty confident heading into Game 3 of their series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. They were up two games to none, and superstar Donovan Mitchell was playing arguably the best basketball of his NBA career. That changed quickly as the Clips not only handled Utah in Saturday’s contest, but Mitchell also had to leave the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. The good news for Jazz fans is that the two-time all-star says he is ready to go for Monday’s Game 4, but if it turns out that he’s not 100%, the series could very well be tied 2-2 when it shifts back to Salt Lake City for Game 5.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Mitchell has already established himself as one of the preeminent playoff performers of his generation, with two 50-point games already on his postseason resume. In the history of the NBA, a player has scored 50 or more points in a playoff game on 44 occasions. So with that in mind, how many can you name in five minutes?
